This Thursday in Hartford, CT we are hosting our second annual Charter Awareness Day at the Capitol! Throughout the day, educators, parents, and students will be sharing the work of their schools with lawmakers. We will also present two parents and two school leaders with the second annual Torchbearer Awards!
And we are happy to announce Julio Fuentes, President and CEO of Hispanic CREO, will be joining us for the day!
If you can't be there in person, don't worry - we'll be streaming live on Periscope and Facebook!
This past weekend in Buffalo, we held a Charter School Community Day. We had a lot of fun helping bring the charter community together, and it even got some local news coverage! Time Warner Cable News and WKBW came out to cover the event!
